    September Hay

    Hayyyyy guys!

It's been a long time since I have been on PR. Super busy with work and shooting. Finally able to spend some money on some nice glass, which is great. Just picked up a brand new Canon 135L, Best money I have spent on a piece of gear yet haha

Was out shooting yesterday and grabbed this shot, I really like it. I am wondering what you all think about it?

Anyone? Would love some feedback on this shot. I know its a very plain shot, but sometimes the plain shots are good ones.

Simple is wonderful, but without strength of subject, it needs good composition and eye leading features. In this image, my eye goes to the upper right to the very bright blown out sky and stays there. - Terry

I like it other than the out of focus lower portion. With landscapes most prefer extreme depth. I think this one works though.

try painting of a nice blue sky, add some noise so it does look like a flat spot of even blue

maybe also add more contrast on the background trees, make them darker too

if you can come here again, a re-shot with the sun close to the horizon , so light is side ways

Its a plain shot rylan, But its got a lovely rustic feel to it! I love the way the sun shines on the front bale! On the whole, I think its beautiful in a charming sort of way. Although, I feel you could have avoided the blurred foreground!

I shot low, that is why the blurred foreground is there. I thought it would kind of help to pull you into that bale of hay. Thanks
