    Sentinel

    Wanted to get a full-on face shot, but he flew when I started to move around the tree.

    Still a very nice shot, nit to bad at all.

    Still a nice pose. I wish the depth of field was a bit shallower that way the background would've been blurred out, focusing the eye on the bird more. Also if you shot this RAW you should try to get back some of the info that was lost in the blown highlights. Other than that, looks pretty good.

    Not a bad capture - he's a little bright in the white areas but nothing too bad. A flatter angle would have been better, as would the full on face shot, but I think you can be happy with what you got. Funny how these things always look upset.

    I do need to start shooting in raw.
