    That is a very strong image.

    Great composition, depth of field and exposure. Good use of B&W.

    No reason for us to be kind when you can shoot like this.

    I think you should crop some off of the top and right. You are far to centered. I like the high contrast B&W treatment. The lighting on you face is good and not blown out. Nice work.

    Normally I am all about finding improvement in images posted here by tightening the crop. However I think the strength of this image is due in a great deal to all that black featureless space around the OP.

    I looked at various crops and decided that it was best as is.

    Anyway, I agree that it is a good image, stark and blunt. The crop on this i think is really your call as the artist/subject. It works for me with Gregs suggested crop, and also works as it is now, just a little different, but still coming across well.
