    J-Dogg - The top shot's pretty standard. The second one, it has a good effect to it. It looks like a negative (pretty soon, people wont even know what a negative is anymore eh?) I wish you were wearing something other than the hat, it seems a little pedestrian... maybe a ghost outfit for Halloween?

    Both are pretty cool.

    Too bad all the people who know how to run this country are busy running taxicabs or cutting hair.

    Re: Self Portraits

    first one's way too over processed. First, if you're going to take a reflection shot either get a flat window and don't show the context, or get a car window but show what's around it. The second shot is fine, but nothing special. I'm not much for these kinds of photos anyways.

    Re: Self Portraits

    The bottom image, the very processed one, has a good look about it. The close up with the lens right in our face is effective and the treatment you gave it in CS2 works , I feel. The top image, as GB1 said looks pretty standard and also looks underexposed a stop or so. I would have liked to see a little something more in the image showing it is a reflection off a window other than the very light ghosting image on top.

    Sup J-Dogg, I think the bottom close up one would have been good in black and white.

    your images look very soft, as if you're applying a despeckle action, or a noise reduction software.

    Re: Self Portraits

    too much NN is bad. It gives images a very altered look, which a lot of the time you don't want the images to have. Noisy images are displeasing to the eye, but too much noise reduction software makes them even more unpleasant. to me at least.

    Re: Self Portraits

    I like the second black and white shot the best

    The first shot is just average for me but it the second one is pretty cool with the orangeyness =P

    All that is gold does not glitter,
    Not all those who wander are lost;
    The old that is strong does not wither,
    Deep roots are not reached by the frost.
    From the ashes a fire shall be woken,
    A light from the shadows shall spring;
    Renewed shall be blade that was broken,
    The crownless again shall be king.
