Yea I love my 350 it takes great pictures (when i get the focus right haha)

Heh, I am doing most of my work with a g11 power shot. It probably shows. But to H with it, it is way usable, and the live view is worth a lot.

Yea I love the live view on my Sony A350. Especially having a 5 month old son who is on the ground. I just put the camera in live view and flip up the view finder and viola I can take pictures without getting on the floor.

What about flipping it so the image isn't mirror reversed anymore. I have Photoshop CS4 and there is a menu option under image>image rotation>flip canvas horizontal. If I remember right, it is the same in PS Elements. That way, the viewer doesn't focus on the reversed writing on "Sony"

I like the way you've done the mirror trick without obscuring your face, as is often the case.

Very good, and it looks better flipped. i like the texture in the bg. Some haloing around you, but it does not hurt in this way here.

I prefer the first with the YNOS. As soon as my brain sees it as unreadable, it disappears. When I can read it, I keep looking at it.

Better yet may be to clone it out. I would still prefer the first with you on the right. My vision flows to the right. In the second, I see you briefly and then flow off the photo to the right. In the first, I flow into your image and then stay a while looking it over. I don't know if this is a general perception by most people or just me.

Well I didn't know the first looked different as it must have been replaced by the second.
I like it fine but would like to see more room on the left,(or right). A bit tight to frame right now.

I think is a great shot...its never too easy to do self-portraits for one reason or another, but this works. Personally the choped hand does not aid to the general idea (nit pick).

I like a lot what you did with the PP work, the tones and the BG is cool. Just a pointer...try to avoid the "halos" like the one over your head...that jumps to the eye and screams "PPwork".
Also I think this could be a little improved by adding a tad more contrast and definition to boost a little the shadows and the skin.
