Selective Color - Flag/Headstone - C&C Welcome

I have gotten quite fond of these shots...

Here are the specs:
Canon 5D, 24-70L @ 70mm, 1/2000", f/2.8, ISO400

Interesting shot........... almost seems like a halloween shot. I think it would be better if you slightly toned down the color in the flag. It's OK but a bit overpowering. Perhaps crop out a little of the bottom too. That would make it less centered vertically.

Overall, very creative...............

I think the bright colors of the flag are marvelous. I understand (I think) the idea of contrasting it with the B&W surroundings, but the background is just a little too dark for me. It might help to lighten the shadows just a touch...
