    Sea Gulls

    Hi,

I am new to this forum and pretty much interested in photography.
I have a D40. I would like to upgrade it. D90(just body) is in my mind(700$ is my range).
Suggest me if there is any other better option. Also I have got 15-55mm and 55-200 mm lenses.
Do I need to go for some other lens??

    Thanks

for your budget and what you're (probably) going to need, the d90 is a great camera. I started out with a d40, out grew it in a few months, got my d90 and haven't looked back. If I had the money I'd take a d300, but I don't, and I don't really need it. Your lenses are a decent start...I'm not a fan of the 18-55 just due to the focus ring, and I had the 55-200 briefly before getting my 18-200, which is basically the only lens you'll ever need until you decide you need more. In that case I suggest the 1.8 50mm, or 1.8 35mm for some low light stuff.
    mostly Nikon gear
