    Re: Schollenbergarama!

I like #1 best, I have been practicing a few panos myself. But #2 is very interesting.

    Mr Yuck.
Why did you let us in on the secret? LOL. Too honest.
The nice pano talks but the manipulated one screams and stands on it's own two feet.
The manipulated shot is wonderful and has some beauty. It has huge potential for various interpretations. I would blow up the art and print and hang and say nothing to anyone. Leave us guessing.
Got to be the best bit of manipulation I've seen.

    Yuck ! Hahaha.
    I love the pano.Stunning colors,technically incredible.The second Image is bad-2-the-bone.It screams Andy Warhol (That's a compliment.)
2 excellent images.Very creative.I like what Overandbeyond said "It stands"... My opinion is 90 degrees left...or...As it is. Hang that up.It's radical.

    Re: Schollenbergarama!

As Tom stated, the manipulated image is very well done, i would only try to get rid of that seam running down the middle. The original pano seems to be well done, although the actual subject does not offer very much.Good job with these manipulations I've seen you doing lately.

Greg, thanks, looking forward to seeing some of yours.

    Tom: What secret? Thanks!

    Rick: Thanks

Gary: Thanks for your input. I have some ideas on how to avoid the seam next time.

    Re: Schollenbergarama!

Nice kaleidoscoping effect. Reminds me of a Rohrshach(sp?) Ink Blot. And I won't tell you what I see.

The pano is fine, but I want to see more of the right side. I get the feel that there is a more dynamic drop off 'out there' somewhere.

That effecct is very eye catching. You made a good selection to manipulate.

Both the pano and special effect I wonder if would benefit from some minor adjustment in the brightness factor or a slight deepening of the blue to add a little more contrast to the reds and golds.

    Keep 'em coming!

Mr Yuck - Yeah, that rotary shot is strange! I keep thinking "F-111" coming right at me or something. Well done on that thing..

I think the pano is fine but it could have used more things happen'. It's fine as an exercise. Just missing the boats, etc that would have put it over the top.

Thanks, next time I'll go a little further, but I wont edit the color on a sunset.

Boats are impossible in that body of water, it's a wildlife preserve with water probably about knee to waist deep. How about birds?
