    A Scene at Little River

I hiked into Little River this morning and tried not to wake up any snakes.

Re: A Scene at Little River

Odd that there's been no replies to this one (but the site has been pretty quiet overall lately).

This is a really well done image Greg. Everything seems very sharp, esp the foreground, which I think was a very smart decision. I love the opening in the tree there and the sharp rocks. The amount of blur is excellent and I like how the white wash contrasts with the dark water. There is no particular subject area but the water and tree can act as one.

If I would add any area for improvement I would say that the image could be a tad sharper, as when I look in the distance the leaves on the trees, etc seem to lack low-level detail. This could be due to several things: lens quality, sensor cleanliness, camera shake, ...

    Nice work,

Thanks GB more than likely the tree leaves were moving in the wind. The caynon has a nice stiff none stop breeze.
    Good eye to catch it.

I agree with what has been said already but I'll add this. The lines coming from both bottom corners are a great touch and reveal a thoughtful composition. Nice.
