    Sandy Hook Flatlands

This was the no fun type snow where we got snow all day long but only an inch or two. Though I did have some fun doing donuts in the abandoned parking lot next to this area.
    What do you think?

Looks cold and miserable to me! Your exposure and contrast are spot on I think too.

The only problem as far as I can see is a lack of focus point for the eye to wander to. Perhaps it would have been better on the second one to get in closer and use the curve of the fence to lead the eye in, perhaps to the ship in the distance?

    Cheers

I agree with Mike, It almost looks like your options was limited at the vantage point you were at?

It's a cold, miserable day, but those days are often good for photography I agree about the lack of a focal pt. There seems to be a lot there to isolate and do a specific photograph on, but of course that means you will have to get down in there (snow, ice, mud) and perhaps tresspass too!?

I really like the first shot. That odd perspective gives it good photographic imbalance.

If the ship was in the first photo it would of been my pick, but the second one I do have to agree about the lack of a focal point even if it is my pick.
