Great idea CF! Clean composition and colors. I always love night shots that include vehicle motion. The reflections are interesting but not dominating. Congratulations on the featured photo.

    Re: San Diego Trolley

    Hey CF,

I think the shot works. The train blur is pretty much the perfect amount. But what puts icing on the cake is the way the illuminated sign compliments it. There's also enough buildings in the back to whet one's imagination.

Ideas for improvements: the entire shot seems to be tilting to the left, so try straighting it (but this will clip off some of the good stuff too). Consider adding a person or two in there next time, maybe in the dark area on the far right. Finally, maybe not centering the train vertically like that. Perhaps a lower angle looking up.

Congrats on the sticky too. There's been a lot of great shots lately so that makes it that much important. -

Thanks GB. I have taken all your comments/suggestions to heart. I appreciate you taking the time to leave a comment. And, never fear, I am thrilled at being selected for Feature Photo. I know the "competition" is always a challenge and am honored.
