    San Antonio Mission

I took two shots with differing depths of field: (1) to get the spout in focus, (2) to get the tower in focus. In PS, I removed the out-of-focus tower from the first shot and then replaced with the in-focus tower from the second shot. My goal was to show the textures, light, objects closer to what the eye sees and then give an overall mood to it with the gradient back drop. Does it work for you?

    Thanks,
    Paul

I'm afraid that I'm not a fan of b&w and color mixed images, and because the tower is mostly shades of gray/black, the little color left in the frame distracts...in my opinion. The composition is excellent, as is the exposure. If you had a good sky, this would have been stronger in color. Again, my opinion. :-)
