I think it is a great subject. Are you good with PS so you could remove the grafitti P? The really bright part - at the bottom right - makes me squint. I'd like to see it reshot without the harsh lighting.

I concur that it's a great little subject. The only thing that bothers me about the shot is that it's slightly tight and clastraphobic - needs more space on either the side or top or bottom (one of them that is, at least). The grafeti also doesnt seem like a negative cause it isnt supposed to be pretty. I wonder who will end up buying it.......

I like it, and B&W really enhances the mood. Reminds me of some of the (occupied!) houses in a little town where I used to live.
Some friends and I have been going to some of the small towns in southwest Michigan every Friday and having breakfast at whatever little restaurants we find. On the street where this ramshackle place is located, there's a restaurant called Tumbleweeds, and the name of the place seems to fit right in with its surroundings. There are about 8 houses/businesses there that are really run down. On some of the properties, you'll find discarded appliances (such as the tv I found in my 'Tuned Out' picture), and the whole area is a hotbed for photographers. I'm hoping that the next time we go, I'll be able to do a lot more shooting.
