    Sails and Rocks

    I was trying some different things and thought this came out OK. What do ya Think?

    I like it. The only thing I may have tried would have been to get down a little lower and try to have the rocks frame some of the boats.

    Looks like a shot from Crissy Fields (SF). I've spent a lot of time there :^).

    I'm not sure what is it that you wish to portray here. Is it the boats; the rocks; both; a beautiful day, or all the above? Depending on your answer, I would have changed the composition accordingly. What's missing for me is a subject that draws my eyes.

    Also, pay attention to keeping your horizon level -- especially when shooting water.

    I would just focus on the boats. Dont know what kind of lenes you have - just work with what you got. I think since the blurry rocks take me away from looking outward.

    Yes it is Crissy fields in San Fran... good call. I was working with a canon 28-135 is i could have zoomed in and had just the boats, infact i think i do have it, just thought it was different. Thanks its always help to know how others see what you see.
