Lightbulb Rusted out pickup truck - MACRO!!

this is prety delicious. I know some parts of it are out of focus. I'm submitting this picture more for contrast and colour, shading and texture. its kind of abstract. I have another shot moved over to the left so you cant see the ground but I feel that this picture gives a sense of where the truck was ( in the middle of the bush) I think its some 67 ford. I was looking at the year on the lights.

You're right about the colors and contrast. Now go back out there and bring it into focus

Though I love the potential of this shot, the colors are just too over saturated for me. I don't mind the focus issues, but the colors are just too much for me.

Maybe try black and white...that might work better IMO.

    Well done,

here it is B&W. I'm not really digging it. like I think I might have to mess with the contrast and lightness in PS to make it look like it was intended to be a b&W shot. I just took away all the color and thats what you're left with. you also said you didnt like the saturation. so I totally desaturated this picture and now I think it looks fantastic. I would have never thought but it really brings out the old in the picture. gives a feeling to it. it also takes your focus off of the focus issues! thanx for the suggestion of making it black and white and then I kinda ran with it. I like the desaturated one way better than any of the other shots what does everyone else think?

P.S I also desaturated another shot from that "rusted session". One that was perfectly focussed, the DOF I think is off the hook. I was going to have this one critiqued but I found the coloure to be oversaturated as well but not the picture has a purpose so here it is as well. comments are always welcome.

Love the color. Might love it better sharper with more detail. Still very nice.

The first and second shot of your new post are superb. I love the black and white and the less saturation works great. Well done!
