Rural Images #2 (Old and Disused)

The ol' Polar Bear drove me out into the countryside yesterday. The Manitoba interlake region is unique in all the world, I think (although I don't know the world at all).

    Hi Don,
The photos are all crisp and sharp. I like Photos 2 and 3 the most for the composition and the sky.

The third shot is very strong and interesting Don. More angles on this area would provide loads of great stuff..
    But they are all good.

These are pretty nice shots, Don. Small things can make a huge difference and I wish the corner of the steps in the second shot didn't just barely get chopped off.

Nice use of the wide angle. The distortion really makes the first 3 images.

I wish the final image shared the same crazy blue/white sky of the others.
    No, I DON'T need that.

1 and 3 are great Don. I think you layed out #3 perfectly. It's as awsome of a shoot as I have seen from you. Nice work. It looks as though you and that lens have hit it off.LOL Your work has improved with the new equipment.

Re: Rural Images #2 (Old and Disused)

Thanks guys. I agree this new camera has made a great difference. I tried my Kodak camera recently jst to see how it felt. It was so dim and slow. I'm amazed I could shoot anything.

Don, these are easily the strongest images I've seen from you, they're great. The lens fits perfectly with how you shoot. And i know others have said it, but just tone down the sharpening...
