    RR Depot

I shot these on Christmas day on my way home from Grandma's house. Thoughts and suggestions welcome.

I think I like the last one best - it has such stark contrast on many levels - dark/light -- hard/soft etc.

I agree. I like the last one best. I found myself wondering where the focal point was supposed to be in the first one. The red definitely grabbed my attention first, but I don't know if that's what you intended. I like the abstract though. It's good.

Now you have us humming Christmas carols. If you tell me you were in a one horse sleigh, I'm not gonna believe you.

It may all be my monitor, but the station shots seem a bit underexposed- probably because so much of the shot is white and the metering is fooled. Compare the snow in the 2nd and 3rd shots.
I think the flat lighting can get a boost from a slight 'S' shaped curves adjustment. The resulting increase in contrast and saturation in the signs gives them better seperation from the building and a bit more sense of depth.
In the third shot I think I might like the rusty color of the metal seen in the other shots.

Be sure to send Grandma a couple of these - she'll love them.

Thanks for the comments and suggestions Chunk, and everyone else. Here is the third shot in color as you requested.
