    A Rose In The Night

It has been a while since I have lurked around the critique forum. My family and I were playing with light painting last night with a single rose we have growing in our front yard. I was hoping for your thoughts.

    Thanks

Re: A Rose In The Night

The first one is the most successful by far I think. The others are too soft (the second one) and too bright (the third). That first one is very nice though .. the effect is just right. I would be inclined to crop though a little of the dark part away and those extraneous leaves right on the bottom.

    Cheers

I like one and three, i think maybe the flower head on the second is a bit dark and out of focus.Im thinkin the third is my favourite i like the way the whole plant is brought out and is all nicely in focus. You have done well with some really nice photos there shane, well done.

Thanks for the comments and suggestions. If I get to play around some more I will try a little light in the background.
