    Exclamation ". . . A rose by any other name, would smell as sweet. . . . "

Home made lightbox (cardboard box, and some printing paper). The rose was on a shiny white cardboard(?). SB-26 at camera right on 1/4 power, and SB-25 at camera left at 1/4 power. Triggered by cactus V2s's. The rose was closer the the light on the camera left side.

Wonderful, as I said moments ago elsewhere.

The title... so familiar. Who said that... Jay-Z?

I believe it was Eminem; I could be wrong.

    Nicely done.
Since the rose is pointing to the left, I'd like to see it placed farther right so it leads into the frame.

    Its Shakespeare!

    Or maybe you're joking?

Very nice. I feel like the open space would either lend it's self nicely to some copy or some texture of sorts.
    mostly Nikon gear

I love the reflective, almost silvery quality the lighting gives the flower.

The quote - just looked it up. Neither Jay-Z nor Eminem. It was some old guy I've never heard of.

Didn't quite understand you N8. Some copy? Either lend itself nicely or...?

There's a lot of open space in the photo that could be used for some text or something...like for a wedding invitation, mothers day card, or an advertisement.

Yeah, I think it was Carrottop.

Very nice shot, and with a homemade light box, no less. I love the subtle reflection. Frog is right, the flower should be more to the right, though would not have thought so without his suggestion.
