    I actually took this awhile back... I really just like the texture of everything in it.

    I might be able to like it if the bright sun lit spots weren't so washed out and lacking in detail.

    Yes, I like the textures in this shot too. The hedges/foliage, the tree, the broken up pavement all have something appealing going on. The harsh sunlight and contrast that goes with it though is hurting the scene. Your framing is not bad here, though you have the path/pavement set up as the subject and there should be something stronger or more readily available as a subject on it , such as a animal, or jogger etc.
    Did you convert this to b&w? looks good, but seems to have a slight tint to it. . .greenish?

    For me the focus is way off and the contrast is much too high and the image is too bright with blown high lights.

    One thing I do like is the tree trunk on the far right seems to be what you were focusing on and it is a very unusual placement for the subject of the image. Very cool idea.
    No, I DON'T need that.
