    Room With A View

Found this old, abandoned, motel yesterday named "Comfort Motel". The place has been unoccupied for years, and I finally stopped an got a few shots. I converted this one to b & w. What say you?

Very well composed John, Everything seems to line up nice. The lighting is good and a good conversion to B&W as well. I guess the little prop undr the window was for an AC unit? Nice find John...

    Re: Room With A View

Hi John, I like the gritty detail and bw treatment. My thoughts are that you're in pretty tight and the window is the subject. The stuff on the left dosent seem to add to the comp.
I think it may work better if you moved to the right some and centered the window, or move back and show more of the building.

I'd kinda like to see more of the building myself. Interesting how the shutters have survived the ravages of time.
