    Rock wall

I do this just for fun as I'm sure some of you do, but I'm always looking for ways to make my photography better and learn from you guys.

This was taken in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico.

Feel free to criticize as much as you want.

    Thanks.

    Re: Rock wall

Well there's that stray twig right at the top that is crying out to be cropped or cloned out of the image.
Other than that, I'm sure someone is going to say that it's close to a 50/50 split of rock and scenery.
Or that they would prefer a square crop.
Or that it would be better in black & white.

My main issue is that again it's missing a subject.
Something, someone, other than your scenery.

Thanks for pointing that twig at the top too, hadn't seen it.

As far as people in my pictures, as you could probably tell from the 3 pictures I posted today, I kind of enjoy just shooting scenery, but I'll take that into consideration and take someone with me for my next pictures. Thanks for the comments.

If you're just shooting the scenery, then you have a problem without a foreground element to add a subject into the image. Unless you have something else that makes it a spectacular shot, like strong lighting, great sky ... scenery is what goes at the back of the stage in a theatre. To bring it to the front needs something special.
