Volunteered for a water station at the San Diego Rock N Roll Marathon this last Sunday. Since they had a pretty decent turnout I was able to shoot some pix (about 650 !!!) of the elites before the main crush arrived.
I should have read my camera manual beforehand. The predictive autofocus didn't seem to work ( ), but probably because I didn't set it correctly. :blush2: I tried shooting manual focus but WHEW, that's hard !!! My hat's off to the sports photogs that do this stuff!
I was able to find a few that didn't seem too bad but had to do a lot of sharpening, reducing the quality. How do they look to you, quality-wise?
