    I've been there!

Nice shot. The foam may be slightly blown out at the bottom, but you got the water silky without losing the action!

    Was there anyone sliding?

    Hi Cara,
Thanks! Yes, there were a few young fellas sliding, you can see them climbing along the railing, but it was COLD!!! I'll be heading back again in the summer when it's wamer and more popular.

I think you should have panned slightly more to the left and got more of the bottom of the falls. Just a nit pik though..The people in the shot really helps with composition and scale. The lighting looks as though it was in your favor.

    Hey Greg!!

Great to hear from you! Glad you're back on your feet and haunting construction sites again.

You're right I could have included more at the bottom. I went back and looked through my shots and now I'm wondering why I didn't. Oh well, this place is less than an hour from me and the kids definitely want to go back. I'll keep that suggestion in mind when we do.

You're right about the lighting too. It was a lovely day for pictures - cool and overcast - it was NOT a lovely day to be in the water however, those kids came out of there freezing.

Cool (in several ways). When I lived in the area, we used to slide down here quite a lot. Great fun!

Cool indeed! The water is shockingly cold and it's going to have to be a very hot day before I think it's more fun to slide myself than to take pictures of other people sliding. :cornut:
