    Ring around the Moon

    Greeting all,

I took this photo on Christmas Eve. Due to the rather large diameter of the the ring, I had to use my 35 mm and wide angle lense. The moon was up at about 11 o'clock, so shooting on the tripod was very awkward. The shutter was open for 6 seconds. I changed the shutter speed several times but this one was the best. I was hoping for a sharper image but I guess I'll take this one. Comments appreciated.

    Thanks Janie!
I nearly let the cold temperature, that night, keep me in the house. Maybe you can get the next one. Thanks again.

Well, I might be able to get some cool shots this time next year - I may be moving to Washington state - not sure where yet though! Definately not as many light obstructions there nas there are in NJ!
