    Some nice color but quite dark on my monitor. Also, I think that the clouds would be level.

    And welcome to the site since I forgot on the 'river' shot.

    Nice color and the bending road leads the eye nicely.
    I agree that it is too dark and not level.
    Tripod? Could have done a longer exposure with one and got some detail in the foreground.

    Very nice color,flow.
    This is an exmple were a graduated ND filter would have helped.

    Welcome to PR, I see you live in Forest Hill,ca...I lived in Auburn for 4 years, that is some beautiful country up there.
    Here is a quick edit.I lightened the shadow areas, leveled.

    Thanks for that Rick. That does look better. Speaking of Auburn. I was out shooting pictures all day of the Auburn Fire. I will post them up later.

    I think just level up the original, my laptop is profiled* and it looks great apart from the slight lean.

    (*) You know how the contrast changes as you tilt the screen?
    I have one of those built in video conferencing cameras and if I can see my eye reflected in the plastic over the front of it, I know I'm at a consistent viewing angle.
