I`m new around. I`m using P&S Panasonic dmc-fz8.
I could really appreciate review for my macro. Take a look on the high detail shot and let me know what do you think.
I'm no macro expert but it looks pretty good to me.
The dof is ok but I wish the focal point was on the head instead of body.
Don't know what you could have done about the dark areas.
For me too much has been cropped on the top and a little too much on the left. I'd prefer to see the entire bee in the shot (wings) and with the brightness of the flower on the right more darkness is needed on the left maybe in the form of a dark band from top to bottom. Focal point on bee head with flower could have been interesting as Frog suggests. A great catch in any case, well done. Oh, I like the background blur and color maybe having this come around the photo on the left would have been good as a border that I allude to above.
 Shootme...
Please don't edit and re-post or use my images (not that you'd want to anyway...). without my written permission. Thank you
For a compact camera I think you got a great result here. At least it looks great at the small size you posted. These compacts just get better and better.
I have a total lack of respect for anything connected with society, except that which makes the roads safer, the beer stronger, the food cheaper, and the old men and old women warmer in the winter and happier in the summer. Brendan Behan
