CL - hope she can get a cream for the condition on her face LOL

The composition looks as if she is pulling the dog to here rather than showing the scarf - trophy of some kind?- The expression of love in the dog's eyes is lovely however the bottles sticking out of the lady's neck is a little off putting.

Love the colours in this photo

Excellant in most ways. This one is sharper. The expression on the dog's face, and her's, is great!!! If you can, I suggest you recompose it in PS (or another app) and try to crop out the foreground table. It's a little unfortunate, but it seems that the lighting was just a little too contrasty, esp in the backgrouund (the shade across the dog's face... hmmmm... I'm not sure if that's good or bad here. But you couldnt do anything about it under the circumstances). Try the crop.

Thanks for the look over and the suggestions folks. I agree with the points mentioned and didn't even notice the bottle in the background until it was pointed out. I have implemented the suggestions so far with a crop and some burning to hide the junk in the background. Figured I could get away with it what with all of the patchy shadows throughout. A little dodging around the eyes too. I see improvement, anyone agree?

I was definitely concerned for the dog's safety with this one. He was having a snooze under the table and she saw me coming with the camera and yanked him up from a dead sleep by the bandana! I figured I'd better hurry up and take the picture so that she'd let him go back to his nap. Good thing he loves her.
