DeSoto Falls Series post #2

I didn’t pick the right day to take another lunch break at DeSoto Falls but I did manage to come away with a few shots. The sun was very bright and we had 1 - 2 inches of rain the day before which totally changed the water volume at the falls.

Camera- Sony F717, F8, 1/60.

I have great news! I can work around the dead wood from the previous DeSoto post.

I like the depth of this picture. From the rocks in the foreground, to the water coming over the dam.
Nice shot..........Looking forward to seeing more from this series.

I had been taking some shots of a rainbow that was caused by all the mist being blown around by the wind and happened to noticed this view. I'm glad you like it.

This is a fantastic shot!! Nice and sharp, and I can almost hear the water roaring over the falls. A huge improvement over the first set!!
