    The horizon is to centered on the first one and the power lines ain't helping. I also think the sky is to dark compared to the grass. Looks odd. The buildings need to stand out more.

    I think you overdid it on the darkening in the upper part of the forst image and the bottom part is too light. This photo could have been very effective in black and white or with a deep, contrasty overall composition.

    I generally agree with the comments on the first. In fact, the first time I processed this photo several months ago, I sat on it, because I did not like the results. I redid it and thought it was better, but it still is not right. I really like the basic shot, but the power lines are too numerous to easily get rid of. I may redo it, but the sky is darkened to pull out some detail without that it is just way too bland in my opinion, so the shot may simply be unusable.
