    Remnant

    I went on a photo shoot last week to a ranch that dates back to the mid-1800's. There once was a main gate leading to the barn and corral supported by adobe posts on each side of the road. This is an original post, rather, all that is left. As you can see it is weathered, adobe is cracking, with various vegetation taking over.

    Nice work CF. I might have tried a little lower angle and the flowers on the left and right have been cropped a bit tight., but a nice subject and good colors...

    I love the bright reds! This looks like a naturally occurring instance of one of those photo edits where evrything is B&W, or at least greatly subdued, except for one outstanding color.

    Thanks for the comments. This image is pretty much the way I found it; took it. I boosted the contrast a bit but that is about it. The scene caught my eye.
