    Religious undertones

    waiting for my film to get processed...
    bored & going thru some old stuff.

    Comment and critique.

    Tao, I must say that this one doesn't works for me. I think the dof would/could be good if the fence in the foreground was in focus as I like the background blur but nothing seems to be quite in focus here. Also, the tilt is not enough. I'd rather have a more dramatic tilt or everything straight. Finally, the slightly washed out spot in the lower left corner distracts me....

    yep, I agree with you...but I'm holding onto this photo as it was one of my very first, when I realized I wanted to do this as a hobby (about two years ago).

    I wanted to get some reaction because this is one photo I have on my mantel :blush2: and I have gotten mixed reviews by friends. Most friends thinking it is a waste of a frame. I like the grittyness and juxtaposition. It will remain on the mantel (in the back ) as a reminder of when & why I started.
