Reflexions of an arch

I took this shot last month of the Arco de Santa Catalina in Antigua, Guatemala. It was taken around 6 AM but the sky is so bright there that I still had trouble with overexposure in the sky and the volcano in the background. I have done some editing in photoshop but I'm not sure if I like it now. I am posting the edited (first) and the original (second). Please let me know what you think.

About the Arc...

The only remnant of the once-enormous Convent of St. Catherine is this beautiful yellow arch that spans 5 Avenida Norte, a street locals call Calle de Santa Catalina. The convent was founded in 1613 with only four nuns, but by 1693 its growing numbers forced it to expand across the street. The arch was built to allow the sisters to pass from one side to the other unseen.

I think you edited it quite well but I sure wish I could see the top of the arch.

Thanks. I have other photos that have the complete arch. However, I couldn't get the complete arch with the reflexion in the pond as well.

I do like the edited photo better, and you could of gotten the top of the arch by using a stitching program and stitching two photos together. But you have to plan that.

I think a photo which had all of the arch or vertical panorama would had more impact.
