    Reflects of a Summer

    This photograph was taken on Spitzer Lake in rural Minnesota at dusk, over 4th of july weekend. What are our your thoughts?

    Great moment. Nice clean sky, nice graduation of colors. I wouldn't say that the objects in the foreground are ideal though,... the rowboat could be at more of a diagonal and the left side object I am confused about. It is also slightly unsettling as the pic is split in almost half by the placement of the horizon. But overall, the photo still works.

    Thank for the comments.
    GB the "other" object in the foreground is a dock thats why its hard to make out. Your probably right that I commited the cardinal sin of photography by putting the horizon in the middle of the picture. I'm still learning.

    IMO, for this shot, the horizon in the middle works well, good silhouettes and serene waters.
