    Reflective scenery

I think I may be on to something here. This was by total accident. I snapped the shot and then later when I was looking at it noticed the reflection. When I try to recreate it I will watch for the flyaway hairs. What do you guys think?

Ummmmm ladybugamanda...I don't want to sound like I'm slamming you here but the image lacks sharpness..Its a tad over exposed and I would liked to see more of the girl's face..Sorry!!

I am well aware that her face is blown out...it was the concept of the reflection I was sharing. Here is the original photo that this was cropped out of. Thank you for your opinion.

    Re: Reflective scenery

Really interesting concept and definitely one to work on. I agree with previous comments re the exposure,, but please don't give up on the idea. It could be a stunner if it all came together. Maybe at an event such as a sports event - with the field reflected in the glasses? Or at a parade with the band/float/whatever reflected? At the beach with a boat in the glasses? I might keep my eye open for the possibilities myself!

    Cheers

I've tried this before, and everyone here said they would prefer the real image rather than the reflection in the glasses.

I tried that in some of my F1 shots, and the response was the same

I guess it's either so cliche they dismiss it out of hand, or it's an idea whose time has not yet come ;)

Let's keep trying and see if we can make it work - then convert the world to our reflected point of view

Paul - Those are great shots. I really like #2. Somehow, some way we'll find a way to make this concept work! I'm sure we can change the way the world thinks - and views things!

    Re: Reflective scenery

Thanks, Roxy! There was a photo in tonights paper of a reflection (double reflection really) of Mt. St. Helens in binoculars. I thought, "I'm not too far off in this concept!) So, thanks for the vote of confidence. I'll work on getting more reflections. Wait!! I have a reflection photo I'll post...have to find it and dust it off. Stay tuned...
