    reflections triptic

Not sure how this will turn out. This is my reflections shot from an earlier post with a crop job and resizing. Then, on a friend's suggestion, I tried to do a triptic (I think that is what it's called) by cropping it in thirds. Not sure if those three will appear side by side though. Comments?

I like the original. Nice color, texture and saturation. Not sure about the other presentation.
Don't forget about the Gallery. Are your photos there??

I'd say you did a pretty good job of stiching. I like it better than the very bottom shot.

Well, actually it was cropping that I did. The top image is the actual original after being cropped itself. Then I took it and cropped it into thirds. It was not the easiest thing to do.

    Hey srobb...

I really, really like the original. I think the cropping into thirds is quite interesting, but I prefer the look of the picture all together. What I really like is the fact that this isn't just a reflection on still water...the movement makes this a winner for me. And as Old Timer said, the color is wonderful here.

    Hi srobb,

you'll know from my comments on this previous that i like the image, it's very strong.

The triptych works very well with this photo. the composition couldn't lend itself any better for this type of thing. A triptych is generally the three pannels hinged together (traditional method) although these three would hang very nicely side by side on flat panels (canvas could be nice).

good idea, and the end result very effective.

    cheers
    anew.
