    reflection

    Just got my first DSLR a Pentax K100d a few weeks ago, got tired of reading manuals and how to's so I figured I would just take her out and start shooting. Here's one.

    I like the distorted reflection. I think you need to add some foreground or something that isn't part of the reflection. Maybe a person standing 1/3 of the way from left and that image would be sharp and not wavy. Just a thought.

    Try zooming out/moving back and retaking it. If you had all 3 trees that you see a reflection of in the picture, and in focus,it would be a great picture.

    Also, try straightening it and maybe adding some ground.
