    The Ref...

    I like how you got him in focus and the others out of focus, but I prob would have even used a shallower DOF. It's a decent shot, but doesn't really portray any emotion... I think that's bound to be when the subject has their back to the phorographer, unless there's some serious attitude in their stance. Anyways, nice attempt.

    i was looking at this for a while. there's a lot of vertical and horizontal lines all over the place, and maybe if you stopped it down and actually had a very long focus it might have had an interesting effect to have all the verticals and horizontals. another thing as i was scrolling down, i noticed you can scroll the picture to crop it where the ref's head is completely cut off, which might make an interesting crop as well and a nice statement about referree-ing.
