    Re: Rear View mirror shot

Suggestions? Yep, post it in the self portrait thread in the Viewfinder section! (and next time show off more of the artwork on your left hand )

Seriously, maybe crop it in tighter - I'd lose 20% off the left and bottom. Other than that, it looks quite good as is, and I really like the refraction on the front lens element

    Re: Rear View mirror shot

Welcome, and I think you did fine here. I agree with Jetrims suggestions of cropping in tighter, but overall its very good. There is just enough to give us a little bit about who you are such as the Henna design on the hand and the head scarf. Perhaps including a little bit of the location in the rear view would make this even more interesting.
    Nice work.
    btw, I'm also in Brooklyn.

I agree with jetrims crop also.
Now try doing a self portrait in that rear view mirror by aiming the camera over you shoulder.
I have a couple in 'self portrait' and they're not so easy.
    What's on your hand?

Thanks I'll try it again and try to get myself in it more. On my hand is henna, its a kind of dye used for body art. kind of like a temporary tattoo. Its mostly used in India and Pakistan.
