    Re: Read A Book

I like this CL. I wish the lighting/contrast wasn't so extreme, but I think the concept and composition are really strong. She may be a tad too small in the frame, but that is easily corrected. A nice summer's day at the stream.

Really nice composition. Nice scene. I also like the shadows/highlights here. the background being in the shade just naturally gets out of the way of the subject. nicely done. no nitpicks here.

I like the composition. Maybe clone the distractions behind her. Other than that well done.

    Re: Read A Book

Thanks for the great comments GB, Liban and Greg! I appreciate your thoughts. Yeah the light on her legs is a bit hot, and there's some blue thing back there in the far distance that does catch my eye. I'll take some time in the next day or two to see what I can do to fix it. I got so excited that the comp just mapped itself out that I rushed the exposure, well, that and the light was moving fast below the further ridge.

I like the composition a lot too, but the overall sense of the picture is a bit plain for some reason, particularly compared with your other work. A slightly tighter crop would help maybe.

I would clone out the distractions behind her, as Greg mentioned.

Legs are a tad overexposed, too (or they look that way to me).

    Love the image, though.
