    Rainbow on the Ground

Everyone talks about changing leaves. Grass is a rainbow in the Fall.

    Re: Rainbow on the Ground

    Hi Don

It's a lovely pattern and well spotted. I am in two minds whether you should crop out the remains of the fence entirely, thus making it almost an abstract, or whether to have just a little more fence, to provide a boundary at the top?

    Cheers

Very, very nice. Great use of color and lines. I even like the hint of fence in the upper right.

See, you don't always shoot in ugly places.

    2 thumbs up.
    No, I DON'T need that.

thanks guys. My quest is to find beauty in the small places that people ignore or reject. Unfortunately, the photographs I make are usually subject to the same fate as their subjects. Lol.

Nice shot Don. I almost wish there was a little more fence, but it's fine the way it is. Is that a rock or garbage bag at center right?

Don - Good eye, and good execution of capturing it. I've cropped out the fence in an expt and find it a stronger image without it. Looks like Fall's upon you up there.

I agree that it should be cropped and maybe rotated just a little to the left. Great image Don......

Beautiful. I'm with Mike on this. Either crop out what is there of the fence, or to have included more of it to make it relevant to the image.
    Nice work

    Don,

One of your best shots ever. If it is not too late, meaning the colors haven't changed, I wonder what this shot would be like if you lowered the perspective, got down on the level of the top of the grass. Just wondering.

I could do that CF. Although I think the colors are fading signicantly. Half the leaves are off the trees now.
