    Rainbow

I took this two months ago and never really did anything with it. A lot of people like it and so do I, but I'm not sure exactly how good it is. It's not something you see every day. Let me know how you like it, and next time it happens and I happen to be around, I will probably shoot it again.

    dwaugh,

I'm not sure why you're not getting comments, but this is a nice shot. You've got a double rainbow, plus the reflection in the lake. The pier adds a nice lead-in as well. My only recommendation would be to increase (somehow) the contrast in the sky and remove the bird/dust spot in the upper left corner.

Well framed I like it that you took this in portrait. I can't add anything that would make this any better. A good shot all of the way around. A nice keeper....

Very nice capture. Maybe if you got lower before taking the shot you could have made the dock more of a feature with the rainbow in the backround. They say the best shots are taken from below 3 feet and above 7 feet. Just a thought.

Thanks for the comments. I know this shot can be better, and I could do a bit more on the computer with it, but it was just a picture that I took without much time to spend, so I wasnt able to make it as good as I could have. I didnt have a tripod or anything with me. These happen now and then, so next time I'll be ready.

This was taken a block down the street from my house.
