    I agree with Don, I like #2. The black part almost looks like train smoke. The composition is also good. On #1 I would crop out the out of focus foreground. A grad filter would have helped on the others. I put off buying one a long time, and as I look back on some older prints I kick myself in the rear for not buying one sooner. They really help bring out detail in a sky.

    A grad filter? Could you point me in the right direction?

    EDIT: figured out what a grad filter is. I don't really see the need when/if you have photoshop. The effect is easily added. I could post some edits if you're interested in looking.
