    She looks scary for a baby, child abuse in progress, someone notify the cops. As if its not enough that the poor child is earless!.

    Oy Asmarlak! Little Hannah has an unusual birth defect. The outer ear was not completely developed. Frankly I should have cropped it from the photo. She hears ok and will have surgery when she's old enough to correct the defect. Rabbi Karen's exaggerated expression is the point of the photo. I don't think she looks dangerous. What is that look?

    In your first image (the closeup) I would re-crop to put more empty frame space in front of her face and less behind her head.
    No, I DON'T need that.
