I took this with a Canon Ql-17 I got from Greg, I was panning with the dog. I have never before used this camera. The light meter does not work on it so I used my E500 to set the shot up. Not too bad A?
Sorry, it does nothing for me.... The dog is practically centered in the frame and the foreground and background look to be terribly out-of-focus, not blurred by camera motion. This could be a great shot but IMHO you need to get tighter on the dog, have him in the right side of the frame so that he has somewhere to run to and slow the shutter considerably. It would have helped to catch him a little sooner, too. It looks like he had a nice green background which would have been nicer than the dirt.
I agree with Canons comments about tightening the picture into the dog. The dog gets lost in the picture Maybe more of a pano shot? Tight top and bottom then long on the sides. Definatly crop the picture so the dog is closer to the right edge of the shot. I think its a fun shot. A good start on an unknown camera.

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, martini in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming WOO HOO what a ride!
