I was finally able to re-shoot these from last year. The sky cooperated with me and the foreground came out a little better than usual for me. What do ya think?

I think I like the second shot best, but they're both great composition and color wise. If I were to change anything, it would be to reduce the immediate foreground in the second shot by about 1/2 (just above the dark bush to the right side of the frame)
I dodged that spot a little too much I think. I think I should have left it as it was. Does the foreground look over sharpened on the second one? Thanks jetrim for the input.

Both are beautiful! Second one would be even better with jetrim's crop suggestion. The first one is my favorite but I don't like seeing all that "shoulder." I would crop it just below the road sign (and figure out a way to clone the whole sign out), and then crop some off the right side -- maybe to the dip in the front treeline.
