One thing I really like about this is that there is only a touch of strong color but that color is so strong it really stands out.
Since the bird is dead center in the image and looking off to the right so I'd like to see everything left of the edge of the stone at its feet cropped out.
I have a tendency to take my photographs very literally: if that's the way I shot it, that's the way it is. I try to get it right in the camera, that's very hard with moving things. I have to learn to use PP creatively to enhance what I captured. Thanks for the comments. I tried your suggestion here:

i prefer the original.. its the contrast between all the white and the eye catching splash of bright colour that makes it interesting.. a rare instance of burn out improving an image.. too much cropping goes on it might be linked to useing prime lenses as opposed to zooms i dont know.. but i like it get it right straight from the camera.. cropping pieces out of an image seems like cheating to me.. he he
