    Prince Caspian's domain

This photo I did NOT take. My sister did and I am posting for her. She likes to shoot B/W, herself being new to photography as well. Any suggestions or comments are appreciated.

She used a Nikon n75, kit lens (35-80mm i believe) and kodak b/w film.

    Thanks.

Tough to photo all black subjects

On my monitor the cat is just a black blob, no detail at all. It's tough to get the exposure right on all-black furry friends. I think the composition is too busy. I recommend getting in closer to the cat to eliminate the building in the background and some of the foreground flowers. Those white flowers are probably going to blow out when she exposes for the cat, so I'd try to eliminate them from the picture completely. I'm assuming the cat is the subject. If not, then remove it from the photo!
