Lovely view. I like the way you composed it and the way youi managed to get that nice smooth reflection of the sky. Even that red lifesaver thing in the forground is a nice touch.
Can't critique you too much on the composition, you seem to have nailed it pretty well. Perhaps there is a slight lean to the right in the photo? It just seems that way to me, and I'm being nitpicky
Keep shooting!

Composition is great and I agree that the flotation device is a well placed and much needed element, adding a nice splash of color. Well done!
(I'm not seeing the lean that Danic refers to, but there is a touch of perspective distortion evident on the left side - nothing to worry about though)
FWIW I also checked out your Flikr account by clicking the shot you posted. Some very nice shots up there as well, most notably # 2, 6, 10, 16, frosty web, and Sunday 5.
Thank you all for your comments, very much appreciated.
Many thanks to Jetrim for bothering to visit my flickr account.
When learning it gives great encouragement to carry on when people take the time to assist others.
Once again thank you all.
I would prefer that the right side of the image wasn't so empty looking. The line of boats just cuts off and there isn't anything in that space to look at. I do like the rest of the image, the water smoothness is very cool. I nearly missed the red life ring because my evey kept going to the right looking for something.
