Terrific shot. Of course the pink shoes for your little girl make the shot but nicely posed and fine texture. Your wife is perfectly round and quite the cooperative model. Best of luck in the coming days; be sure to let us know how all are doing. I have two of my own.

    Be proud!

I really love the B&W for this photo, and the tiny bit of color with the pink shoes really makes the photo, I agree. lovely shot!

The shadows really stand out to me. I like that. What is your light source?

The light was just the natural light comming in from a window, nothing too fancy

I shot it against a black sheet in RAW, then in photoshop turned up the shadows until it clipped the background solid black, Then cranked up the vignetteing to get more shadow around the edges of the shot.

    Re: Pregnancy photos

I love natural light. I have one studio light that I very rarely get good portraits with. I'm guessing that's because I need more than one studio light to get a good portrait, but I'm too cheap to buy one. Espeacially since the portraits I take with the free natural light are great. I won't do a portrait for someone unless it's in natural light.
